The
Well Child
O' his crystal clear
Sparkle strikes
A sprite so fresh
Oozing and bubbly
Like a Water Baby
From Earth Somewhere.
His one-eyed fullness
Reflects
And searches
The beaming smile
Of Mother Sky
Up there.
She suckles him
With Cloud-white Milk
And kisses him
With leaves so
Soft a-fallin'
Tender care.
O' what bliss,
Mother Sky
And Well Child!
Their love is locked
In Poet-trees
And green lyre! |
