On a very clear day, it is even possible to see Bukit Timah Hill (on mainland Singapore) from the summit of the coastal hill in Chek Jawa. Here is a bird's eye view of Pulau Sekudu in the nearby sea below. The tip of the old jetty at House no.1, can be seen too.
