The long and
sickle-shaped spit, made up of coarse sand, reveals
itself at low tide. Its immense size dwarfs all who dare walk on her.
Geo-morphologists popularly call this type of spit a Comet's Tail
Spit
because of its tapered shape and pointed end which is created by the
influence of 2 prevailing strong sea currents acting on opposing sides. |
