Sarang Rimau (Siloso)
You can still visit the magnificent cliff forest today but do watch out for the treacherous tides! The headland rises steeply to 36 metres at the highest point along a south-east line from Rimau Point where two stilted gunposts stand. The last of the layar-rock can be found on the beach. Admirers call it Departed Soul Rock, a somewhat philosophical name taken from three Chinese words painted on the adjacent cliff-wall by an unknown person. See Flora at Siloso.
