| Lazarus
has the rare distinction for being home to possibly the last surviving
Sindora wallichii tree [of the Changi Tree
fame] found in the Southern Islands of Singapore today. The other
two notable rare plants found on Lazarus are: Fagraea auriculata -- an epiphytic shrub related to the Tembusu Tree, and Macrosolen retusus -- a mistletoe.
