| Hopea's Hope - EARTH DAY 2005 | 22 April 2005 |
Some little hands were on deck to help NMP Dr Geh Min, the Guest of Honour, plant a precious treelet of the ill-fated Hopea sangal tree. They were such a joy to watch. If I had a choice, I would like put Earth Day right after Children's Day in our calendar, and make it a wholesome 2-day celebration. Why ? The reason is obvious - Children. They are the necessary ingredient of Earth Day. I cannot imagine one without them ! |
