Say... is this
mimicry in the highest order? Ha ha! This coconut blended
in easily with the boulders which were man-laid in the newly created
beach
of Ponggol end. But on a more serious note, it is a plant of a thousand
uses.
Pacific islanders have much to thank, for without the coconut (and
its long-lasting
bouyancy), it would not have been possible for their ancesters to
make the long
and arduous migration they took (with coconuts in tow) across the
vast ocean
in search of their present home.
And the next time you take a charcoal pill, think of the coconut too.
